A LOVE STORY & FALLING FOR FRAGRANCE
Winter of 2020, Alade Perfume celebrated the love story that founded the brand with the release of two limited edition perfumes from our original collection. Wealth & Dark Prominence were inspired by the Rich History of luxury perfumes and the continent of Africa. Our founders began the journey to sharing Alade with the world 30 years ago and are delighted to present these scents to you.
The Private Collection houses two very special perfumes in A Lions Kiss and 7pm In Lagos. The monumental duo represents African culture and heritage in a way never seen before in fragrance. A Lions Kiss is smooth and consistent with a powerful dry down & 7pm In Lagos is vibrant, well executed and innovative. The Private Collection is limited, only 250 bottles of each beautiful scent has been created.
The Original Collection allows wearers to fall in love with perfume over again, making use of the rarest and most beautiful stimulants that the natural earth has to offer. The two intensely mesmerising scents define what perfume should be. Strong and sexy, yet classy and smooth the Original Collection is as notable as an Oba in Yorubaland.
HERITAGE - THE BRAND’S RICH HERITAGE PROVIDES GROUNDS FOR A BEAUTIFUL FUTURE
Although the perfumes from the Original Collection were complex, the perfume principles of this pioneering, African inspired, British made perfumery created the Original Collection with additional complexity and concentration. A breath of fresh air to the world of perfumery and suitable for our time.
Setting the standards for recherché ingredients and fragrances, the Original Collection has gone on to exemplify the perfume house. It will soon take it’s rightful place in perfume history as a collection of timelessly classic perfumes.
Inspired by the pure diamonds found in the soils of West Africa, the bottles for the Original Collection required exquisite artistry at design stage. Stylish and elegant, they epitomize the sophistication and integrity of the Aladé name.

We source the majority of our ingredients from Africa, our founders motherland.
Whether it’s the Vanilla grown in Madagascar southern Africa, or Clove Bud native to North Africa’s Egypt.
Alade means “Succeeded Upon Arrival” in the Yoruba language of southern west Nigerians, a fitting name to advocate a smooth and prosperous journey for our users.
Fragrance is a multi billion dollar global industry and the African market is the fastest developing market in the world.
